The Motorola Edge 2022 Is Free With Budget Trade-Ins At T-Mobile
The “Uncarrier” T-Mobile has a decent deal for customers with lower-end devices willing to trade them in. The Motorola Edge 2022 is available for free when you trade in an eligible device, and the list of valid devices is pretty long.
The Motorola Edge is a decent mid-range 5G device with a 50MP main camera and a 6.6″ FHD+ screen with a resolution of 2400×1080. It has a quite substantial 5000mAh battery that claims to support 50 hours of talk time. It sports a MediaTek Dimensity 1050 CPU and 8GB of RAM. There’s also the 15W “TurboPower” wireless charging too. The phone is valued at $498, so you’re saving quite a bit by trading in.
Embedded below is the internal documentation shared with us here at The T-Mo Report outlining the offer.
Long-time T-Mobile customers may have taken advantage of the “free device with any trade” offers in the past for one of the company’s REVVL line of phones. Many of those phones are listed as eligible trade-ins for the Edge.
Below is a list of eligible trade-in devices to get a free Motorola Edge 2022.
For customers trading in a REVVL device online, the manufacturer to select for the drop-down box during purchase is likely “Alcatel”.
Customers have a limit of 4 redemptions per account for this offer.
There’s no word on when this offer, with the promo name “2023 Moto Trade P1”, will end, so if you’re interested it’s best to snag it quick. Don’t forget, there’s a $35 Device Connection Charge when purchasing online or in-store, but Costco customers can stop by a participating location to get this deal with a waived DCC.
