T-Mobile might be feeling the competitive heat lately, because they’re starting to roll out some decent promos. New iPhone promos launched late last month, but for those that don’t need a new phone, T-Mobile has a new offer you’re definitely going to be interested in.
$400 Rebate Card
Available today, T-Mobile is offering a $400 rebate Mastercard for customers that open a new line and port in from an eligible competitor. The list of eligible carriers is exhaustive, and basically includes any carrier that doesn’t use T-Mobile towers. That list is below.
- Altice
- Appalachian Wireless
- AT&T
- Atlantic Seawinds
- Boost Mobile – Postpaid
- Carolina Wireless
- C-Spire
- CellNet
- Cellcom
- Century Telephone
- Claro
- Comporium
- Concord Telephone
- Connecticut Telephone
- Consumer Cellular
- Cox Communications
- HTC Communications
- LexCom
- Liberty PR
- NECC Telecom
- Nex-Tech Wireless
- Northstate
- One Communications USVI/PR
- PBT Telecom
- Piedmont
- Powernet Global
- Spectrum
- Telemaxx
- Unified Signal
- Union Wireless
- United Wireless
- US Cellular
- Verizon
- Xfinity
The $400 value is for the Experience More/Beyond plans, Go5G Plus/Next, and Business Plus/Next, including segmented variants like 55+, First Responder, etc. For all other plans, customers can get a $300 rebate card instead.
To qualify, users must open a new line and port in their number. Once complete, a promotions form must be completed at T-Mobile’s promotions webpage within 30 days using the promo code BYODREBATE.
The BYOD promo can be used up to four times per account for a possible total value of $1,600. Not bad!
The full terms are only available if you have a T-Mobile account already by entering the code on the promotions page, but we’ve embedded it below for simplicity.
Stacks with Keep & Switch
One huge bonus with this promo is that the BYOD rebate also stacks with the Keep & Switch promo. This is T-Mobile’s standard switching promo that offers up to $800 back via rebate card to offset paying off your existing phone from your previous carrier.
To qualify, users must verify their device is eligible, grab a PDF bill from their old carrier, and pay off the device. Once port-in to T-Mobile is complete, users can submit the PDF bill to the above-linked webpage to get a rebate back.
Potentially, assuming new T-Mobile customers are bringing their old phones with a full $800+ balance, a potential total of $4,800 in rebate cards is possible if porting in 4 lines.
The offer is available today for a limited time. There’s no telling how long this offer will last, so get on it quick if you’re interested!
