Hey there! Looks like you're blocking ads.

We get it, they're annoying, and we won't stop you. However, consider adding us to your allowlist, or joining our Patreon to support our independent journalism. Tiers start at just $1/mo!

One of the biggest perks that those “in the know” are aware of is doing T-Mobile transactions at a Costco location. You save the $35 DCC charge and you often get a bonus gift card on top of whatever promo you’re using. It’s a great way to save money, as long as you’re already a Costco member (or you can tag along with a friend).

Now it seems that these perks are going to be even easier to claim, because T-Mobile is now allowing Costco members to sign in using their membership and snag these perks without ever having to leave the house.

Sign In Via Costco

It’s true, you can now sign into T-Mobile via Costco and get access to all the great membership benefits right there on the T-Mobile website.

To associate your Costco membership with your T-Mobile account, you can visit the T-Mobile landing page on Costco’s website, and from there click any of the relevant buttons. You’ll then be redirected to either a Costco login page or, if already signed in, the T-Mobile website.

At the moment, it seems every link on the Costco landing page ends up at the T-Mobile Switch page, as seen below, along with a popup welcoming you.

From here, if you’re an existing T-Mobile customer, just click the login to T-Mobile option on the popup. You’ll be taken to the main shop page on T-Mobile’s website, but now with a new Costco banner at the top indicating you’ve logged in successfully.

You can then use the T-Mobile website as normal. On the phones page, you’ll even see the Costco membership perks via a banner at the top, which can be expanded to see the benefits as seen below.

Stacks With $400 Rebate

Incredibly, it seems the recently released $400 rebate from T-Mobile will stack with the Costco $75 gift card offer seen below.

Lets say you’re a family of 4 on Verizon with phones that are still pretty new. You’ve got a balance of $800+ left on each phone. You could, theoretically, BYOD all four phones, take advantage of Keep & Switch (where T-Mobile pays you back for paying off your phones at Verizon), and get an additional $75 per new line.

That would net you a total of $5,100 in value across the various rebates ($400 + $800 + $75 x4). Pretty enticing.

Other Costco Benefits

For those unaware, there are a number of benefits Costco members can get via T-Mobile.

The most popular benefit is the “DCC On Us”. When ordering with a Costco membership attached, you don’t have to pay the $35 Device Connection Charge when adding a new line or upgrading your device.

Then there’s the rebate cards. Currently, Costco is giving out $100 Costco gift cards when you upgrade. That’s on top of any promos T-Mobile is offering. Pretty sweet.

Other offers include the previously mentioned $75 gift card for new lines, $150 gift cards when buying a new phone and activating a new line, and $25 gift cards for new watch/tablet lines or home internet lines.

Available Now

The online flow for Costco members is available now. To sign in, visit the T-Mobile landing page on Costco’s website.

There’s no sign of an equivalent setup for Sam’s club members, but it’s definitely possible those customers will be able to sign in similarly soon.
