Looking for a good deal on the new iPhone 16 series devices? T-Mobile might have what you need.
The new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro series of devices was announced on Monday, featuring the all new Apple Intelligence. Naturally, everyone wants to get one, but who will have the best deal?
Well, T-Mobile wants to be put in for consideration (as long as you have their fancy premium plans) and we’ve got the dirt on what kind of deals there will be.
According to documents shared with us here at The Mobile Report, one of which is shown below, T-Mobile will offer up to $1,000 off a new iPhone 16 series device with trade-in and/or a new line, depending on your plan.
Here’s our interpretation of the deals.
iPhone 16 Series Promotions
Note: This information is mostly from a leak, so things could be interpreted incorrectly or even change before launch.
The company is known for limiting the best phone deals to customers paying for their most premium plans, and this time around the highest cost plan, Go5G Next, steals the show. Customers on that plan can get a whopping $1,000 off a new iPhone 16 series device when they trade in an eligible phone.
That’s pretty impressive, because devices as old as a Samsung Galaxy S9 series, which can be found on the used market for around $100, can be used as a trade-in and get $1,000 in credit.
Customers on the almost-as-good Go5G Plus plan can get up to $830 off with an identical trade-in. Not quite $1,000, but still not too bad especially if you’re just going for a base model 16 or 16 Plus.
Unfortunately, if you’re on an older or less expensive plan, the deals begin to get less impressive.
If you’re on Go5G, Magenta, or ONE, you’ll be required to both trade in an eligible device and add a new line to get the highest value. If you do, you’ll snag up to $830 off a new iPhone 16 series device.
Otherwise, simply trading in a device on those plans will net you just $300. On a Simple Choice or Essentials plan? Sorry, you get just $200.

Also mentioned in the image above is “More Apple iPhone Promotions”. We’re not entirely sure which devices this impacts. It’s possible this is for the older iPhone 15 series of devices, and the trade-in devices could be much older or cheaper models, as well as apply to older plans.
