T-Mobile just announced their new “Go5G” plans, and it looks like they’ve already got some exclusive promotions that are only available on the Go5G Plus plan. Magenta MAX users are not going to like this.

According to multiple documents shared with us here at The Mobile Report, T-Mobile will launch a number of device and service promos alongside the new Go5G plan launch on April 23rd.

The first promotion is an iPhone “On Us” offer. Customers who have or switch to the new Go5G Plus plan (not the base Go5G plan) will be able to get up to $830 off an iPhone 14, iPhone 13, or iPhone SE series device when they trade in an eligible old device. Customers on other plans can get up to $350 off. The promo has a limit of 4 per account.

Next, customers interested in the Android side of things can get a Samsung Galaxy S23 series device “On Us” for up to $800 off with eligible trade or when adding a line. Once again, this is exclusive to the Go5G Plus plan. Other plans get up to $350 off.

Finally, there’s a bit of a service promo for new customers. Porting in a number from a competitor network to a T-Mobile Go5G Plus plan will net you a $200 rebate card. The rebate card typically comes in the form of a digital Mastercard prepaid card.

So far, there’s no indication that Magenta MAX customers are eligible for the higher trade-in values. That’s sure to irritate customers that signed up for MAX just for the better promos. Luckily, it looks like migrating from MAX to Go5G Plus is easily done, and promotions on your MAX account will also migrate to the new plan.

These offers begin Sunday, April 23rd.
