If you happen to live in a particularly hot climate, it might feel like winter was barely here. I can probably count by hand the few days and nights that actually felt cold, and now that we’re heading right into spring, it’s only getting hotter from here.

It’s also really bright outside as a result, and in addition to thoroughly applying sunscreen, a good pair of sunglasses wouldn’t hurt you. If you don’t have any, T-Mobile wants to give you a pair. With lots of obvious T-Mobile magenta branding, of course.

According to leaked images sent to us here at The Mobile Report, T-Mobile is giving away sunglasses for their next T-Mobile Tuesdays physical freebie.

There’s a few bonuses too: The glasses come with a nice carry pouch and eclipse-compatible add-in lenses to view the upcoming eclipse, if you happen to be within an area where it will be visible. Pretty neat.

The glasses themselves are your regular, run-of-the-mill sunglasses, with the specific frame silhouette reminding us a lot of Ray-Ban’s timeless Wayfarer frames. It’s probably the most imitated sunglasses design out there aside from aviators, to be completely fair, and you can’t really make aviators magenta unless you mess with the lens.

The difference is that instead of Ray-Ban logos, we have T-Mobile logos, and instead of black arms, we have magenta arms. T-Mobile is incorporating its branding here and making it visible enough that people associate the color in the glasses with the carrier, but not too obnoxious to make you look like a walking billboard. A perfect balance, one might say.

These aren’t smart glasses or anything, they’re just sunglasses. The pouch included also appears to be nice and soft. It’s probably one of the nicest gifts T-Mobile has given out, as they look pretty high-quality and actually fairly stylish.

The company actually released similar glasses back in 2018. Now, 7 years later, it’s time for a new pair!

They should show up in the T-Life app later this month, with a likely redemption date of March 25th.
