That $50 price point was too good to last.

According to an internal document we’ve obtained, starting March 10th T-Mobile’s Home Internet service will go from $50 to $60 with autopay for new customers.

Internal C2 Documentation

The $10 increase will only affect customers who sign up for home internet after the 10th of March. Existing customers prior to that will see no change.

T-Mobile began offering their home internet service back in March of 2019 to select rural customers, later expanding the offering in 2020 and early 2021. Also in 2021 T-Mobile began shipping the 5G gateway for the service.

A price increase was likely inevitable, but it still feels too soon. There are still areas where their home internet service isn’t even available to yet. Perhaps T-Mobile felt that having 5G available to the service now justifies the price jump.

If you’ve been thinking about signing up, now is the time to do so to lock in that $50/mo price. You can sign up at this link.
