They got here a little later than usual, but the Galaxy S26 series has finally arrived. And while they’re arguably an iterative upgrade over their predecessors, there’s still a fair bunch to look at here, including stuff like the new privacy display on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
If you’re on Verizon, and looking into the new devices, you might be able to snag one for free.
Preorders for the Galaxy S26 series began on February 25 at Verizon, with a broader rollout to Verizon’s value brands like Straight Talk, Total Wireless, and Simple Mobile starting on March 11. And to celebrate it, Verizon has introduced several of its aggressive promotional offers so you can get one of these for free or really cheap.
Both new and existing accounts can get a Samsung Galaxy S26+ with 256 GB of storage for as low as $0 when adding a new line. The catch? To qualify for this offer, users must have or open an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan and add a line. The deal is structured as a $1,099.99 purchase at 0% APR, which is then, as usual, entirely offset by $1,100 in promotional credits distributed over a 36-month period.
For those eyeing the top-tier Galaxy S26 Ultra, Verizon is offering the 256 GB model “on us” with an eligible smartphone trade-in. Notably, this trade-in offer accepts devices in any condition, provided the customer adds a new line on the Unlimited Ultimate plan. This promotion provides up to $1,300 in credits over a 36-month term.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear there are any deals for existing customers that don’t want to add another line. Kind of lame if you ask us.
Verizon Business customers are also eligible for significant savings, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra available for $0 through a combination of eligible trade-ins and specific business plans, such as the Business Unlimited Pro. Customers utilizing Verizon’s value brands can also benefit from preorder incentives.
Those who preorder the standard Galaxy S26 through Straight Talk or Total Wireless are eligible to receive a complimentary 15W wireless charger while supplies last.
