If you’re stuck in SOS mode or unable to make calls or texts on T-Mobile, you’re not alone.

A nationwide outage appears to be taking place today for T-Mobile cellular customers. The reports began around 4:30pm Eastern and impacts customers from California to New Jersey and everywhere in between.

The outage appears to be impacting some customers and not all, however. One report showed their own cell was out but their partner in the same home had service.

It also may not be impacting 5G Home Internet, only cellular.

Other reports suggested AT&T and Verizon were also suffering an outage, but we believe this is just a bit of overflow from the T-Mobile outage. Over on Downdetector, there are over 60,000 reports for T-Mobile, while AT&T and Verizon each only have about 6,000 reports.

We reached out to T-Mobile and received this response:

Our teams are actively working the reports of technical challenges impacting some customers. Any service impacts are in the process of being resolved and are our highest priority. We know how critical it is to stay connected, and every available resource is focused on resolving this as quickly as possible.
