We like Mint Mobile a lot around here because it manages to both be cheaper than postpaid and include the amazing T-Mobile network. The company’s data caps are a problem if you want to use them for anything that’s not just smartphone service, but it’s pretty good nonetheless.
Now, though, Mint Mobile is adding proper home internet, and the plans the company is launching at first are looking pretty good.
Mint Mobile, which is now owned by T-Mobile, is now offering T-Mobile’s Home Internet service, which will help home users take advantage of 5G connectivity for their home internet and save a buck or two in the process. The MVNO is launching the service with the same three plans as postpaid T-Mobile has, designated as “Rely”, “Amplified”, and “All-In.”

The entry-level “Rely” plan is priced at $35 per month. Then we have the mid-range option, “Amplified,” which is available for $45 per month, offering increased capacity for connected devices compared to the base plan, and a guarantee of receiving the newer Gen 4 gateway. Meanwhile, the highest tier, “All-In,” costs $55 per month. This plan includes bundled streaming subscriptions, specifically Hulu (With Ads) and ViX Premium, in addition to advertised performance improvements suitable for households with numerous connected devices.
The important catch here is that the service is exclusive to specific Mint Mobile customers. According to internal T-Mobile documents we’ve seen, the home internet service is “only available for Mint Mobile voice customers via exclusive email invite”. An example of that email, as shared on Reddit, is shown below.

The internal docs also say that eligible customers will need to tap a unique promo banner in their Mint Mobile app to claim the deal.
Something Mint Mobile is advertising across all three home internet plans is a 5-year price lock guarantee, just like with the new postpaid plans T-Mobile recently revealed. With this, customers subscribing to any of these tiers will maintain their initial monthly rate for at least five years—if T-Mobile is willing to honor the terms of that price lock, that is.
If you’re a Mint Mobile voice user, be sure to keep a lookout in your email for this exclusive offer. It’s not clear when (or if) Mint will offer home internet plans to non-Mint customers in the future.
