Everyone enjoys a good frozen beverage every once in a while. 7-Eleven is famous for, among other things, their Slurpees. They’re pretty cheap, and they have been an amazing treat for decades. They were probably my favorite gas station treat as a kid.
T-Mobile is famous not for slushies, but for giving its customers free perks every once in a while. If you’re a magenta user, or even a Metro by T-Mobile user, you’ll want to keep an eye out for this new recurring treat in your T-Life app.
T-Mobile has just announced a new perk for its customers: a free small, medium, or large Slurpee drink every month from participating 7-Eleven and Speedway stores. This offer is available to both T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers and can be claimed starting Tuesday, March 4, through the T-Mobile Tuesdays program in the T-Life app.
All you need to do is claim the perk in the app, and then go to either a 7-Eleven or a Speedway location so you can claim that perk, no purchase necessary. There’s really not much else to it. The perk itself renews every month, so if you claim yours tomorrow, you’ll have another drink waiting for you next month. Plus, the offer will be per-line, so if you have multiple lines you’ll have your thirst quenched all month.
The first day of availability is tomorrow, March 4th. Along with the slurpee, T-Mobile is offering a free Wendy’s chicken sandwich, too, with no purchase necessary. A chicken sandwich and a slurpee for lunch, on T-Mobile’s dime. Not bad!
It’s not clear how long this promotion will last, but internal docs suggest it’s an “always-on, exclusive perk”, so we expect it to stick around for a while. It will definitely come in handy as we head into the hotter months of the year—summer has been pretty relentless lately, so a free ice cold drink will be welcome.
