A lot of people like baseball. There’s just something thrilling and exciting about watching a bunch of dudes bat a ball around for 3 to 4 hours per game. It’s one of the most popular sports in the United States, which is also why T-Mobile offers it as a free perk for its users. It’s almost time for the season to begin, and it’s also almost time to redeem your free MLB.tv subscription.

T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers will soon be getting access to a free subscription to MLB.TV, which will be available for redemption between March 25th and March 31st. MLB.TV, as a reminder, allows users to stream out-of-market Major League Baseball games live or on-demand.

The subscription includes both regular season and select postseason games. Users can access the streams through the MLB app, which is available on a variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and supported streaming devices/smart TVs. The app also offers additional features like game highlights, news, and statistics.

Just be aware that the subscription is subject to blackouts. If you reside within a team’s designated “home territory,” their games will be blacked out on MLB.TV, regardless of whether it’s a home or away game. These restrictions exist to protect the local television rights holders, such as regional sports networks. For those games, you’ll still need to fire up your good ol’ TV. For other games, though, you’ll have the MLB.TV app.

This offer is available for a limited time, so you’ll have to hop on it before it expires. You must redeem the offer through the T-Life app, in a similar manner to other T-Mobile free perks, as part of a T-Mobile Tuesdays offer. You might even want to snag a free Slurpee from 7-Eleven while you’re in there, too.

The redemption window opens on March 25th and closes at the end of the day on March 31st. When you do claim it, the subscription will be valid for the entire 2025 MLB regular season.

Make sure to snag it next week when it becomes available.
