The iPhone 16e is here. It carries on with the spirit of the iPhone SE in a way—it’s slightly more expensive, but correctly serves as a “cheaper” version of the iPhone 16. It cuts a few corners, but it still has an A18 chip and it’s overall still a pretty decently powerful phone for the money. If you want to get one, T-Mobile has a few offers you can snag right now.
T-Mobile has announced that it will begin offering the iPhone 16e to its subscribers. And more importantly, it will be offering its usual range of juicy deals for both new and existing customers.
Right now, customers can get the iPhone 16e “on Us” (or up to $830 off) with an eligible trade-in on select plans like Magenta Max and Go5G Plus/Next. Alternatively, a $500 discount is available with an eligible trade-in on Go5G or most other plans.
The exact trade-in devices aren’t quite available yet, but we expect the iPhone 16e to be added to T-Mobile’s existing iPhone 16 promotion, meaning the trade-in values for the standard iPhone 16 should be the same as the ones for the 16e.
If you’re not yet a T-Mobile customer, a family plan option offers four iPhone 16e devices and four new lines for $25/line per month with four eligible trade-ins. These offers are applied via 24 monthly bill credits.
Plus, for everyone for a limited time, pre-orders through the T-Life app or T-Mobile’s website will also include free next-day shipping and no activation fee, so your phone gets to your hands quicker.
It’s worth noting that the iPhone 16e starts at $599, while the maximum credit T-Mobile offers is $830. That’s roughly the price of the regular iPhone 16, so if you have a device eligible for that high of a credit, consider the higher-end model.
The deals should be available for preorder today through T-Mobile’s website, so make sure to check them out now.
