Trade-in deals are often the way to go for great phone deals, especially at T-Mobile. The issue is, if your device has a broken or cracked screen, you’re usually out of luck. Starting December 13th, that won’t be an issue for some customers.
If you’ve been wanting to upgrade to a new iPhone 16 series or a Samsung Galaxy S24 series device, but your existing phone is broken, now might be your chance (as long as you’re on T-Mobile’s premium Go5G Next plan).
According to a document shared with us here at The Mobile Report, T-Mobile’s $1000 off the iPhone 16 Pro, which we detailed a few weeks ago, along with the Galaxy S24+, will now allow the trade-in of a device in any condition.
That means if you’ve got an old phone laying in a drawer because you sat on it and broke the screen, you should go wipe the dust off because it’s worth $1000 towards a new iPhone 16 Pro.
In our opinion, the more impressive deal is for the Samsung S24 series. Devices as far back as the Galaxy S9 qualify for a full $1000. Now that’s a holiday deal.
Plus, for segmented Go5G Next plans, which are 55+, Military, and First Responder, can also trade in a damaged device for a full $800 value. Still disappointing that T-Mobile is not giving the entire $1000 credit to those customers, but it’s better than nothing.
