T-Mobile 5G Home Internet has been available since April of 2021. Both customers in remote areas and customers that are sick of the cable companies have flocked to the service since launch, with the company’s gateways offering speeds in the hundreds of megabytes per second.
Now, a new promotion is coming that will drive even more people to sign up, and you could be one of them (as long as you already use T-Mobile).
According to documents shared with us here at The Mobile Report, T-Mobile will soon begin a promotion offering $30 off per month to existing T-Mobile postpaid customers that either have at least one voice line or already have a home internet account.
Customers that have at least one voice line on any T-Mobile postpaid account will be able to add Home Internet unlimited for just $30/mo. In addition, customers that have a Home Internet account already, with no voice lines, can add a second Home Internet service to their accounts for $30/mo.
In order to be eligible, you must already have a T-Mobile postpaid account with either a voice line or a Home Internet line. Theoretically, customers with both a voice line and a Home Internet line already will also be eligible, having met the first eligibility condition.
Business accounts with less than 13 lines are also eligible.
Home Internet Plus, which adds a mesh Wi-Fi node, guarantees the newer G4AR gateway with external antenna connections, and gives 24/7 device support, will only be discounted by $20. That makes the final cost $50/mo with the new promo.
In addition, a new “DCC On Us” promotion begins at the same time, and applies to phone upgrades done at the same time as a new Home Internet line is added. So, if you’re planning to buy a new phone through T-Mobile and sign up for Home Internet, you can save the $35 fee.
The new promotion begins Thursday, September 5th. Customers can sign up online or in-store.
