It looks like T-Mobile’s popular free MLB.TV subscription will be returning to the T-Mobile Tuesdays app this year, if a tweet from T-Mobile Help is anything to go by.
T-Mobile has offered a free yearly subscription to MLB.TV for the last 7 years, and it quickly became one of the most popular perks from the carrier. With a value of $149.99, it’s one of the perks many customers look forward to every year.
The tweet in question, shown below, is in response to a twitter user asking about the MLB subscription, saying it’s the only reason they’re still with T-Mobile.
The MLB offer has, for the past several years, been made available via the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. Known for everything from free Burger King Whoppers to free mugs and umbrellas, the Tuesdays app is one of the more popular benefits T-Mobile offers. The MLB subscription is probably on the top of the list when it comes to the most popular offering in the app.
As usual with these situations, take this news with a grain of salt. There’s always the chance that this representative is mistaken, or simply trying to retain a customer. We won’t know for sure unless T-Mobile officially announces the offer is returning.
If the offer does return, it will be available in the T-Mobile Tuesdays app to all eligible customers. It’s likely an announcement will be soon, because the MLB season kicks off at the end of March.
