Hey there! Looks like you're blocking ads.

Another day, another price increase. This time, it’s the Apple TV “On Us” add-on that many people take advantage of on T-Mobile postpaid accounts.
As spotted by numerous folks online, separately confirmed via internal sources, and finally confirmed when T-Mobile began texting customers, T-Mobile will soon charge $3 per month for the Apple TV “On Us” perk.
The freebie has been part of T-Mobile’s list of perks since as far back as 2021. The perk is included with most “Plus”-level plans (like Go5G Plus, Magenta Plus/Max, etc) and higher.
Evidence of the change was first spotted early this morning in the “Add-ons” page on customer accounts. A notation indicates that, beginning January 1st, 2026, Apple TV will cost $3 per month.
Customers who do not have Apple TV “On Us” but still bill Apple TV through T-Mobile will go from paying $9.99/mo to $12.99/mo.
This brings the T-Mobile pricing in-line with what Apple charges directly. The company raised prices to $12.99/mo back in August. Prior to that, the last price increase was in 2023 when Apple increased from $6.99 to $9.99.
T-Mobile has also begun texting impacted customers beginning today. The text links to T-Mobile’s dedicated support page about the price increase, which can be found here.
T-Mobile: Apple recently announced a price increase, raising Apple TV subscriptions to $12.99/mo. As a T-Mobile customer, your plan includes a $9.99/mo benefit. There are no changes to your bill now but, effective 1/1/2026, your Apple TV will be $3.00/mo after your T-Mobile discount. Text going out to customers
It’s surprising to see T-Mobile not covering the price increase. Even Netflix, which has gone through numerous price increases and plan changes since partnering with T-Mobile, is still free (with ads) on most plans. Typically we’d expect T-Mobile to at least continue offering the benefit fully “On Us” for their premium plans, but in this case it seems everyone will be hit with the increase.
The price increase is set to take effect on January 1st, 2026. If you have Apple TV “On Us” but don’t want to pay that $3 per month price, simply remove the add-on on your account before the end of the year.
