Credit cards are a dime a dozen these days, with every company and store having their own branded offering. Now T-Mobile is joining in.
We previously reported on images found within the T-Life app all the way back in April, along with some internal chatter about a possible credit card. It’s been over 6 months, but it looks like T-Mobile is just about ready.
As first spotted by a tipster (thanks, Anonymous!), the T-Mobile credit card info page has gone live on the T-Mobile website, possibly a bit early. The “Find out how to apply” button leads to a missing page, so it’s possible someone may have hit a button too early. Update 2: T-Mobile pulled the page down originally, but the site is now live fully. Regardless, here are the details.
Rewards focused on T-Mobile purchases
First, as we assumed back in April, the T-Mobile credit card is a Visa backed by Capital One. It features the same look as the images we found back then, seen below.
The T-Mobile Visa credit card will be exclusive to T-Mobile postpaid customers only. There’s no annual fee, either.
It will also be eligible for autopay discount, making it the only credit card that works for that discount after the credit card loophole was fixed last week. That discount nets you $5 off per-line, up to 8 lines on an account.
In addition, the card features rewards you might expect from a carrier card. That includes 5% rewards on T-Mobile device purchases and 2% on everything else, including your phone bill. The rewards can then be spent either as a credit towards T-Mobile purchases like phones or accessories, or directly applied to your T-Mobile postpaid bill.

Standard other benefits that come with Capital One cards are also included, like no foreign transaction fees and zero liability for fraudulent charges.
T-Life all the things
The new T-Mobile Visa credit card will be entirely managed by the T-Life app. Customers will be able to check balances, apply rewards, review transactions, and shop exclusive offers.
There’s also the implication that customers may receive exclusive benefits on T-Mobile Tuesday perks. It’s possible the company may offer Tuesday rewards that are only for cardholders, alongside regular Tuesday offerings.
Overall, if you’ve been dreading the idea of putting your bank information into the T-Mobile system for your autopay discount, the T-Mobile credit card might be what you’re looking for. The card is available for signup now using the link below.
