It’s summer, and it’s now time for Samsung’s new foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are Samsung’s best foldable phones yet, and they look amazing.
One problem, though—they’re also a bit on the expensive side. If you want to save some money, Verizon has some great deals currently going on, as long as you’re willing to add a new line.
To go with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 launch, Verizon has announced a few promotional deals that you might want to take advantage of. Customers on the Unlimited Ultimate plan can acquire a Galaxy Z Flip 7 completely for free, or receive a $1,100 discount on a Galaxy Z Fold 7, with an eligible trade-in.
The carrier guarantees the trade-in value for select manufacturer devices, regardless of their condition. The trade-in value, as usual, will be applied to your account in the form of monthly credits over 36 months.
The catch is that Verizon is apparently requiring you add a new line to get this promo. That’s unfortunate, but if you’re looking to open a new account with Verizon (or add a family member to your account), now may be the ideal time. Oh, and you’ll also have to be on the Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan to qualify.
For those interested in purchasing two phones, a “buy one, get one” (BOGO) offer is available. Customers who buy either a Z Flip 7 or Z Fold 7 on an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan can receive a 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 for free, though this also requires adding at least one new line of service.
It doesn’t end there, though. Those purchasing either of the new foldable phones on the Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plans will receive a six-month subscription to Google AI Pro at no cost. Following the promotional period, users can add Google AI Pro to their plan for $10 per month, a discount from the standard $19.99 price. Not bad!
The deal is available now via pre-order, and the new devices become available on July 25th.
