Those “in-the-know” about T-Mobile promotions know that doing transactions at Costco, whether it be adding lines or upgrading devices, can save money.
The standard benefit of doing so is having the $35 “Device Connection Charge” waived for every transaction, plus the occasional Costco Shop card promo on top. Now there’s an even more enticing promotion starting soon.
Beginning June 18th, customers who visit Costco and port in a number to a new line on the Experience More or Experience Beyond plan and buy a new phone will receive both a $200 Costco Shop card and a $250 Virtual Visa prepaid card.
As shown in the image below, sourced from an early copy of the upcoming Costco Coupon book (thanks costcoinsider.com), the promotion will give both the Costco Shop card (which is $50 more than is currently available prior to the 18th) and the Visa to eligible customers that both add a new line and a new device.
The only catch here is you’ll need to port a number from an eligible competitor. That includes AT&T, Verizon, Claro, UScellular, Xfinity, Spectrum, or Liberty Puerto Rico. The good news is this offer works for both new and existing T-Mobile accounts, as long as you’re adding a new line and a new device, and you’re on the Experience More or Experience Beyond plan.
Plus, don’t forget, this stacks with T-Mobile’s existing phone promotions, like a free iPhone 16 Pro or $1000 off a Galaxy S25 Ultra.
You can get up to 12 of the $200 Costco Shop cards and a maximum of 4 of the $250 Visa cards. If you’re on a competitor network and need 12 lines (for whatever reason), that’s a potential value of $3,400. Not too bad.
The deal starts June 18th and runs through until July 20th 2025. You can find out more once the deal goes live over on the Costco website or in-warehouse.
