When you go to buy a phone at a carrier, the first thing you do is probably look at the brand. Is it a big brand? Is it an iPhone? Maybe a Samsung phone? If you don’t have a specific requirement, however, and you’re open to cheaper phones, there are many options you could consider. And if you’re buying one on T-Mobile, you’ve probably looked at the company’s own REVVL series of smartphones. Now, the carrier is greeting us with a couple of new smartphone models that you can check out — and for a change, we also have a tablet.
T-Mobile has introduced two new phones to their budget brand: the REVVL 6x 5G and the REVVL 6x PRO 5G, just in time to take advantage of those faster network speeds.
The former is the lower-end of the two, as you might imagine, but it still packs a punch, with a 6.52” HD+ display, triple rear cameras, and a 4500 mAh battery that should last throughout your whole day.
If that’s not enough, the REVVL 6x PRO bumps things up even further — a 6.82” HD+ display rather than a 6.52″ one, a bigger 5,000 mAh battery, and quad rear cameras, including a main 50MP sensor.
Both devices come with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the non-Pro model, and up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for the Pro model.
What if you’re more of a tablet person, or you already have a phone but would like a tablet? In a first, T-Mobile has launched their own branded tablet, the REVVL TAB 5G.
The tablet comes with dual speakers, a 10.36″ FHD display, and a 7,040 mAh battery that will keep you juiced up throughout your day. It also comes with 6GB of RAM and a rather simple camera setup with an 8MP sensor.
The REVVL 6x 5G will start at $199.99, and so will the REVVL TAB 5G. The REVVL 6x PRO 5G will be ever so slightly more expensive, starting at $229.99. And being a T-Mobile phone, you also get some enticing offers.
You can get a free tablet when you activate a tablet line via 24 monthly bill credits, and you can get a free REVVL 6x 5G or REVVL 6x PRO 5G by adding a line with plans such as Go5G Plus. You might also be able to get a free phone with a trade-in.
The new REVVL devices launch exclusively on T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile on August 24th.
