T-Mobile is putting another nail in Sprint’s coffin.
Beginning August 17th, T-Mobile will no longer allow Sprint plan customers to begin new device leases. The news comes via a document shared with The T-Mo Report, embedded below.

Existing leases will be unaffected, and customers with a Sprint lease will remain on their lease until paid off.
As we bring T-Mobile and Sprint together, we’re streamlining policies across T-Mobile to provide a consistent customer experience.
T-Mobile recommends alternatives for Sprint customers, including interest-free installment plans, that will work with Sprint plans. They also recommend that if a customer wants to get a device in a lease-style method they can switch to a T-Mobile plan and take advantage of T-Mobile’s JUMP! On Demand service.
Any Sprint customer that intended on getting a new Sprint lease may want to consider doing so before the 17th.
