It appears T-Mobile’s LineLink device is no longer available for purchase.

The LineLink was a device that allows for a line of T-Mobile service to be used with home phone devices. It featured a simple RJ-11 phone jack to connect standard home phone devices.

The discontinuation was done with no warning and without much fanfare, with T-Mobile simply removing the device from the online store as well as internally for employees. The support page just recently updated to confirm the unavailability.

Existing stock appears to be reserved for replacements for existing LineLink customers in the event of device failure. There are no new LineLink activations available.

T-Mobile’s new 5G Home Internet gateway features a disabled RJ-11 port. Many speculated that this could be used for LineLink purposes in the future, though that seems much less likely at this point.

It remains to be seen if T-Mobile will offer an alternative solution to those wanting home phone service via the uncarrier network.
