Google’s Pixel 10 series was just announced, and it’s impressing everyone. It’s packing lots of internal changes compared to previous generations, even though the external design changes might be minimal. Nonetheless, it’s pretty great, but it’s also expensive.
Thankfully, carrier deals are always here to save our wallets, and T-Mobile has some pretty sick deals for the season.
T-Mobile has announced that it will carry the Pixel 10 series, and it has a pretty interesting bonus to go along with it. T-Mobile’s “T-Satellite” network, which until now was only for texting, is being expanded to support data starting with the Pixel 10 series.
Customers with the new handsets will get early access to the data connection of T-Satellite for use with select Google applications, such as Google Maps and Messages, while off-grid and connected only via satellite. It’ll be a limited early version of the planned full data launch of T-Satellite on October 1st, and it’ll be available to Pixel 10 users that have T-Satellite on their plan starting on the Pixel 10 launch day of August 28th.
Now for the deals. Customers on T-Mobile’s most premium Experience Beyond plan (or the Go5G Next plan) can receive a Pixel 10 Pro for free with an eligible trade-in (or up to $1000 off the Pixel 10 Pro XL).
Meanwhile, for customers on most other plans (even essentials!), a Pixel 10 can be had for free if you add a new line or trade in an eligible device. If you prefer the Pro or the Pro XL, a trade-in can net you $800 off those as well. That’s a pretty decent deal for customers on older plans. All promotional discounts are applied via 24 monthly bill credits.
There’s no word yet on deals for the Pixel Watch 4 or the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but T-Mobile says to keep an eye out for promotions on those devices, and that they will release on October 9th.
Pre-orders for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are available now, with general release starting on Thursday, August 28. Be sure to check these deals out now if the new T-Satellite capabilities catch your eye, or if the phones look good to you.
