Home internet is becoming an increasingly popular solution from carriers. With 5G being really fast, 5G home internet is a great choice for those that live in areas not served by traditional ISPs—as long as you have access to high-speed data, you have high-speed internet for your home.
If you use Verizon, and you have both a mobile plan and a home internet plan, the carrier has some ideas on how to reward you.
Verizon has recently announced a flurry of new deals and perks for those who bundle their mobile and home internet services. Customers who do so will get access to significant savings and added benefits.
Customers combining eligible Verizon mobile (postpaid) and home internet plans will receive a $15 monthly discount on their home internet bill. This can bring the cost of Verizon Home Internet down to as low as $35 per month. The discount is also stackable with existing offers for military personnel, first responders, students, and teachers.
And the company is further sweetening the pot with other perks. Mobile customers adding a premium home internet plan are eligible for a credit of up to $10 per month toward services like Netflix & Max (with ads).
Verizon is also promising improved customer service for those who bundle their plans. These customers will receive “priority care,” which includes personalized greetings and faster support through phone and live chat channels.
Additionally, Verizon announced a similar discount for its “Verizon Value” customers. Starting in May, those with both an eligible Verizon Fios Home Internet plan and a mobile plan from Verizon Value brands (including Verizon Prepaid, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, and others) will also receive a $15 monthly discount on their Fios bill. Some exclusions might apply, such as the Verizon Forward discount.
