Not everyone wants a flagship phone. And that’s fine, really. They come with a lot of bells and whistles, such as nice cameras, high-quality displays, and other bleeding edge stuff. If you just need the basics done right, there are many phones on the market that will still give you an awesome experience for your budget. That’s the case for the Galaxy A54, which is Samsung‘s most popular non-flagship smartphone. That phone is usually pretty cheap, but on the occasion of Prime Day, it’s now even cheaper.

The Galaxy A54 is an amazing smartphone, especially if you consider all the stuff it brings to the table despite its low price point. The smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in-house made Exynos 1380 chip, and it’s paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This phone isn’t one to excel at any one particular category, being a mid-range device ranked lower in terms of performance than the S and Z series, but it should still make for a solid, inexpensive device.

It has a 6.4-inch 1080p display and it has a triple rear 50MP camera setup. It also has a chunky 5,000 mAh battery that should last all day. Last but not least, the phone launched with Android 13. With this phone, Samsung has committed to releasing four major OS updates, which means that the phone has a lot of life left on it — you should see updates up to Android 17, which will most certainly roll out in 2026 or 2027.

The device is usually available for $449. Right now, though, for Prime Day, you can grab it for $349.99, a considerable 22% discount. It’s a great deal for what could very well be one of the best mid-range phones around. Make sure to act quickly, though, before this deal is gone.

If you’re interested in more of a flagship and have the cash, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also on sale for Prime day.
