Previously we reported back in March that T-Mobile will eventually sell services at Best Buy and Walmart. It appears Best Buy has now begun doing so.
As seen here on the Best Buy website, customers can now shop T-Mobile plans and devices. T-Mobile is also available in-store just as Sprint was before it.
With T-Mobile, you can get started online or in a Best Buy store with no activation fees. Get 5G access on all plans at no extra cost, plus plan discounts for ages 55+, military, and first responders.
The site lists all of T-Mobile’s currently available plans, like Essentials and Magenta, along with specialty plans like 55+ and first responder plans.
Back in March T-Mobile confirmed via a virtual analyst day live stream (video now private) that they plan to expand postpaid offerings by selling in “nearly 1K Best Buy stores and 2.2K Walmart stores”.
It’s still unclear when Walmart will join Best Buy in selling T-Mobile services, but it will likely be soon. Currently Walmart services AT&T and Verizon plans and phones.
