A lot of smaller MVNOs out there use T-Mobile’s network for the same reasons you would get T-Mobile in the first place—reliable nationwide signal. The company has always been friendly to MVNOs, with a lot of them using the company’s towers over those from AT&T or Verizon. Now, T-Mobile wants to solidify itself further in this segment.

T-Mobile has launched ‘Your Name, Our Wireless‘, a new service designed to simplify the process for businesses to create and manage their own wireless brands. The solution targets Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and various consumer brands across retail, finance, and entertainment sectors.

The service offers end-to-end management, handling backend setup and daily operations, allowing businesses to focus on customer engagement and revenue growth. Companies can leverage existing loyalty programs and customer data to offer personalized wireless services and exclusive content.

“We recognized the challenges businesses face in becoming an MVNO,” stated Daniel Thygesen, Senior Vice President of T-Mobile Wholesale. “Our solution aims to streamline this process, enabling companies to quickly launch their custom wireless services.”

‘Your Name, Our Wireless’ offers a comprehensive suite of tools, including website and app development, SIM fulfillment, billing, and customer support. It is designed to scale alongside businesses, ensuring secure and reliable services. The solution leverages T-Mobile’s extensive 5G network, promising fast and reliable connectivity.

As a customer, the result of this will probably just be more smaller MVNOs coming up using T-Mobile’s service. Which, if you like how T-Mobile works in your area, might be good news to you, as many of these smaller MVNOs are also really cheap.
