T-Mobile has teased an announcement for Thursday the 4th of March at 8:30AM PT (11:30AM ET).
The announcement will be 5G related. Over on Twitter the EVP of T-Mobile Business Mike Katz dropped a teaser clip, seen below.
Some have speculated that this announcement could be updates on 5G carrier aggregation, where multiple 5G bands are connected to simultaneously on a user’s device to combine throughput. Another speculation is VoNR, which would allow phone calls to take place over a 5G connection. Currently calls drop down to LTE to complete.
