Today T-Mobile announced 5-year multi-billion-dollar deals with Nokia and Ericsson to help with their expansion of nationwide 5G.

T-Mobile says they will work with the two companies to expand nationwide 5G coverage and “future game-changing experiences”, as well as “advanced network capabilities like 5G carrier aggregation”.

“T-Mobile already has the largest 5G network in the country. These agreements with our longstanding 5G partners Nokia and Ericsson will help us take our 5G leadership even further, delivering ever-better experiences for our customers for years to come.”

Neville Ray, T-Mobile President of Technology

Nokia was already a known partner with T-Mobile when it comes to 5G, most notably with the new 5G Home Internet Gateways being sent out to new T-Mobile Home Internet customers

This isn’t the first time the two companies have partnered with T-Mobile. Back in 2018, Nokia and Ericsson both partnered with T-Mobile to begin the widespread deployment of 5G, including standalone 5G.

This new deal with Nokia and Ericsson is poised to further expand T-Mobile’s domination in the 5G market.
